AboutThis is my Blag-Comic. For a "too long; didn't read" explanation of what all the different things meant and what is based off of real things, what is completely fictional, and what is symbolic, you can check out the TL;DR page of the Weasel. It was started around the Fall of '04 with a couple of major hiatuses between then and now. Yes, it's a furry (anthromorphic) comic. No, that's not because I'm a perverted freak (that truth is for a completely different reason). The short story is that, my friend from high school was a furry. I would draw her pictures of her character (Failarhya). After a while, I created a character to represent myself in the comics (Aniger). Then more people wanted in on the action, and it just kind of grew from there. And I keep it that way, since it's easier on me (what? no, of course that's not you. You're a human, not a dog. Gosh!), but future comic projects will not be furry. Originally the plot was just going to be all fictional, simply using characters based off of those I knew. But gradually, it started to incorporate more and more of my life, and fell less from the plot I originally thought of. I'm stuck with my early notes, and try and keep it as continual as I can. Hopefully some sort of coherent story works through this. The early comics were drawn on paper, scanned, then colored in Gimp. But as of Christmas '07, I got a new MacBook just in time for my Desktop to die, and my new tablet doesn't work with GIMP on it, so I use Photoshop Elements for now. And just draw them directly on the computer (although I still draw them on paper to make sure I know how I want it to look). All the current layout images from the site are made with GIMP. The non-graphic parts of the website are written in notepad. I use HTML, JavaScript, and PHP. Last updated 09/05/07 | ||
